I worked at the 70 acre Lyndhurst Estate in New York where I did several restoration projects, I then lived in New York City for six years working on large scale restoration and rehabilitation projects. I eventually moved to Wilmington to practice here.

I am also a member of the National Trust for Historic Preservation and sit on the board of a number of committees including DARE.

First Job: At the age of 14, while a sophomore in high school, I went to work far a consulting engineer. I worked on the Wister Civic Center project doing an analysis of the structure/which had suffered a collapse of the roof.

Lesson learned from first job: I learned that I had an interest in the field and working in the profession helped me to solidify that.
